12th INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!


We are pleased to inform you and your institution that the 12th International Youth Day (IYD) Celebration and Youth and Educators Summit for the Millennium Development Goals (YES4MDGs!) is scheduled on August 3-7, 2011 at the Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center, Iloilo City, Philippines. The 12th IYD celebration is spearheaded by the United Nations Association of the Philippines and United Nations Youth Associations of the Philippines with endorsement from Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Department of Education (DepEd), National Youth Commission (NYC), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), and the UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines.

2009 TAIWAN SOUTHEAST ASIA YOUTH LEADERSHIP LEARNING CAMP

Purpose:

For the youths in the Southeast Asian region to better understand the socio-economic, political, cultural developments in the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the Cross Strait Relations.


Youth representatives from:

(1) Student leaders
(2) Political Parties
(3) Assistants to Members of Congress
(4) Government officials

Duration of Camp: 14 days – December 6-20, 2009

Itinerary:

Visit government agencies
Visit major economic development projects
Visit historical places
Participate in folklore activities

Travel Expenses:

Ministry of Foreign Affairs will provide for participant’s local transportation, and board and lodging. Air Tickets – supposedly to be shouldered by the participant
