We would like to inform you that the 2011 UNAP Outstanding Youth Leadership Award (UNAP-OYLA) have been officially launched through the support of our partners, most especially the Provincial Government of Iloilo, this year’s host province through the able leadership of Gov. Arthur Defensor, Sr.

UNAP-OYLA is an annual search which honors and promotes the outstanding achievements of young Filipinos aged between 15-29 years old. Recognizing the youth exemplary qualities, the search looks for young people who dedicated their talents and leadership skills in making a difference and becoming socially involved in their respective communities and organizations for the greater interest of their constituents and members.

The award recognizes the achievements of Filipino youths in the following categories: Culture and the Arts, Entertainment, Community Service, Differently-Abled Youth (DAY), Education, Environment, Indigenous Education, Science and Technology, Health and Sports, Politics and Government Services, and Young Entrepreneurs. The awarding of UN Outstanding Youth Leaders will be held in Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center, Iloilo City with His Excellency Benigno Simeon Aquino III as Guest of Honor.
