12th INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!


We are pleased to inform you and your institution that the 12th International Youth Day (IYD) Celebration and Youth and Educators Summit for the Millennium Development Goals (YES4MDGs!) is scheduled on August 3-7, 2011 at the Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center, Iloilo City, Philippines. The 12th IYD celebration is spearheaded by the United Nations Association of the Philippines and United Nations Youth Associations of the Philippines with endorsement from Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Department of Education (DepEd), National Youth Commission (NYC), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), and the UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines.

12TH IYD Registration Procedure


Registration fee is inclusive of program materials, accommodation, and meals for the duration of the conference only. Airfare shall be shouldered by the participants or by their agency/institution. Fees are as follows:
                            
up to May 15, 2011              
Php4,500.00        for local delegates
US $ 150.00        for international delegates

up to June 15, 2011              
Php5,000.00       for local delegates                         
US $ 175.00       for international delegates

up to July 15, 2011               
Php5,500.00       for local delegates                      
US $ 200.00      for international delegates

after July 16, 2011               
Php6,000.00    for local delegates                         
US $ 250.00    for international delegates
     
Check payments must be made payable to: United Nations Association of the Philippines (UNAP)
Payments can also be deposited at the:
        Bank of Philippine Islands (BPI) with Account No. 3063-5932-13.

It is the responsibility of the delegates to ensure that the organizers receive the full payment of the registration fee without any deduction for bank charges. For partial payment, the organizers reserve the right to ask for the   outstanding balance upon the delegates’ arrival in the conference.

Your registration is only completed upon full payment of the registration fee. Please note that discounts are only applicable for full payment transaction prior to the conference.

IMPORTANT:  If payment is directly deposited to the UNAP Bank account, DO NOT forget to bring your deposit slip as proof of payment upon registration on August 3, 2011.  You may also scan the deposit slip and send it together with this application form via email. Otherwise, your claim for payment will not be accepted.

In case you are unable to attend the conference, request for cancellation or substitution must be received in writing by the United Nations Association of the Philippines email at least 30 days prior to the start of the Conference. Approved requests will be charged 25% of the registration fee of P 1500.00 for cancellation/service fee. Request for cancellation made less than 30 days before the conference will not be refunded.
