12th INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!


We are pleased to inform you and your institution that the 12th International Youth Day (IYD) Celebration and Youth and Educators Summit for the Millennium Development Goals (YES4MDGs!) is scheduled on August 3-7, 2011 at the Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center, Iloilo City, Philippines. The 12th IYD celebration is spearheaded by the United Nations Association of the Philippines and United Nations Youth Associations of the Philippines with endorsement from Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Department of Education (DepEd), National Youth Commission (NYC), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), and the UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines.

UNAP Welcomes New Lifetime and Institutional Members






The United Nations Association of the Philippines (UNAP) headed by its President Judge Aurora Navarrette Recina and Vice President External Dr. Angelica Abella welcomes the new Lifetime and Institutional members of the Association. The Oath-Taking ceremony was held at the UNAP headquarters in Pasig City last May 1, 2009. The new Lifetime members commits themselves in strengthening the association through the various programs and projects like the Search for MDG Youth Champion, the 10th International Youth Day Celebration and UN’s Stand Up, Take Action Campaign. They were given the UNAP commemorative flag and pin as a souvenir after paying the membership fee and signed the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Registration book for Association’s members. The Bansec-Kontico Group of Companies was added to the roaster of new UNAP’s Institutional members together with the Rotary Club of Makati, Philippine Normal University, Technological University of the Philippines to name a few.
